Vision

The current state of the web is limited, and we have been stagnating for far too long. As technologists working on the new Flight Simulator, different VR platforms and immersive events, we realized how constrained our current media truly is. The Metaverse, with its many bubbles, is collapsing because there are no consistent standards. However, there are exceptions like Roblox, Mozilla Hubs and the Avatar Library ReadyPlayerMe that give us a glimpse of what a functioning immersive web could look like. A uniform identity is necessary but without centralized management which blockchain technology might solve.

Modern hardware like the Apple M2 chip remains underpowered for most serious web development projects. Graphically and immersively speaking, the web has made little progress over the last decade. Text is slowly being replaced by images and videos, followed by fully playable 3D scans and eventually AI-generated parallel realities. Is there still room in between for artificial digital worlds?

It's time for the next revolution of the internet.

When I browse LinkedIn or other social media platforms, I'm consuming content alone; despite all the comments and interaction, I don't feel immersed in an experience. As living organisms, we want to feel part of something larger than ourselves - to be interactive and shape our environment. This desire runs deep within us and can be seen in our love for 3D video games.

The Web Layer technology that we're developing at Arrival.Space aims to provide an instrumental solution to this problem. Our approach involves creating a platform-independent environment that's app-less, browser-based (with no downloads or loading times), mobile-first with immersion factors such as 3D multiplayer capabilities, voice recognition and gesture control features as well as ownership sharing options that are fundamental to the user experience.

Our environment will be interoperable with conventional media types such as 3D content generated by AI algorithms while also being interconnected with major Metaverse platforms such as games and social networks alike. It will be operable by your voice and thumb without requiring any coding or blender skills, and will offer an excellent UI/UX experience.

In other words:

  • Platform independent: mobile, console, vr and desktop
  • Browser based: no apps, no downloads, no loading times
  • No registration for consumer, transparent log-on for creator
  • Fully interoperable: conventional media, 3D content, AI generated content
  • Interconnected: deeply linked to major metaverse platforms, games and social networks
  • Operable by your voice and your thumb, no code, no blender
  • Excellent UI and UX

Arrival.Space addresses the need for an immersive, interactive digital world. We believe that our platform-independent, app-less, browser-based approach is the next step in the evolution of the internet. It's time to move beyond stagnant web technologies and embrace a new era of immersive experiences that empower users to think beyond what's possible with today's limited technology.
