Gate Edit

1 Define your Content
Before you can change any other setting, you have to decide if you want to add a Destination Link or Upload a File .
2Destination
Pasting a web link into this field transforms your Gate into a doorway. Entering the Gate will either display the linked 2D content in fullscreen mode or transport you to another Space/Webpage.
Please note that Dynamic Gates currently do not visually indicate that they contain an enterable link.
3Screen
The Screen functionality operates independently of the Link field, except when displaying embedded content like YouTube videos. Otherwise, you can use the Screen to display content that is separate from the linked destination.
Multiple Screens
You can display multiple content items within a single Screen. For example, you can upload a PNG image and a PowerPoint presentation. When multiple items are present, navigation arrows will appear next to the Gate, allowing creators to switch between the different content.
Change Position
Each screen element can be moved. Simply click and hold the entry, then drag it to the desired position. A white line will appear to indicate where the content will be inserted.
Replace ContentAll screen entries can be replaced individually. Click the desired entry to activate the screen and display the icons in its row. Then select the icon, and your file manager will open. Choose the new content you want to upload, and the selected screen will be replaced accordingly.
Download ContentAlmost all screen elements can be downloaded, except for web pages and Gate linkage screens.
Delete ContentIf you want to remove an element from the screen, simply click the icon to delete the corresponding entry.
Add ContentWhen you use this button, two options will appear. The icon lets you add a local file, and the icon allows you to add a Weblink.
It is not possible to link multiple Spaces within a single Gate.
If you want to display a website along with additional content in a gate, it’s best to first add the website using the Destination option. Then, use the icon which is displayed if you click on the .
4Title
Enter a title for your Gate in this field. The title will be displayed directly above the Gate. Use Shift + Enter to create line breaks within the title. The tile is limited to about 90 characters.
It’s recommended not to use titles longer than 40 characters for static Gates, as longer titles may not fit properly above the Gate.
5Description
The description you enter here will appear on the left side panel of the Gate. Use this Space to provide detailed information about the Gate's content or any relevant notes. The description is limited to about 600 characters depending on the font-size, line breaks and so on. It doesn't support manual line breaks. If you paste text exceeding this limit, the extra characters will overflow the description.
Clicking the Edit button will open a secondary, small editor. This basic editor allows for simple text formatting. You can also format the text using HTML. However, be aware that using HTML will override the default text and wall color settings for this Gate, requiring you to define colors, font sizes, etc., directly within your HTML code.

6 Description Image & Description Link
These two fields are designed for branding purposes. You can easily upload a logo image and link it to a website. The logo will be displayed at the bottom of the description panel, and clicking it will open the linked website in a new browser tab.
7 Frame Options (Only Dynamic Gates)
These options are available only for Dynamic Gates. The Frame Toggle controls whether the white frame is visible or hidden. By enabling Lock Aspect Ratio, the scaling of the Width and Height fields becomes linked. The Width and Height values define the overall size of the Dynamic Gate.
8 Reset Gate
Reset Gate allows you to reset the entire Gate content to its default state.
9 Duplicate Gate (Only Dynamic Gates)
Dynamic Gates can be duplicated. After duplication, the new Gate’s position is slightly adjusted automatically.
10 More Settings
The More Settings section provides access to a JSON Editor, allowing you to modify or extend additional configuration values.
11 Clear Gate / Delete
Use Clear Gate or Delete Gate to remove the Gate. For Dynamic Gates, the entire Gate is deleted; for Static Gates, only the Gate’s content is cleared.

Allow Download
Enabling this option will add a download button to the Gate's description, allowing creators to download the Screen content to their device. Do not use it together with the panel logo, otherwise there will be an overlap.
Loop
This will loop your Video permanently.
Mute
This will mute your Video.
Autoplay
This option let's you autoplay the Video. Be careful with autoplay in combination with Synchronized View -> If the first user enters the autoplay starts. The second Visitor will maybe miss something from the Video.
Synchronized View
Activate this to synchronize the content playback or viewing experience with other creators currently in the Space. This feature works for YouTube videos, uploaded videos, presentations, and documents.
Restrict Controls to Me
If you want that everything is synchronized and nobody else can control the content, you should activate that option. A icon will appear next to the Gate, which signals that the visitor can't control that Gate.
This setting might be helpful in terms of presentations or events, but don't forget to disable it after the event, otherwise your visitors can't view the Content.
360° Content
Enable this option for videos to allow creators to pan and zoom the view using their mouse when inside the Gate.
Entry Point Selection
This option is available if you link to your own Spaces. More details can be found in section Connecting Scenes.
Compatibility Mode (Proxy)
The web proxy will be activated automatically when necessary to display web content. If a page is not displaying correctly, try disabling the proxy using the option below.
Synchronized View (Hyperbeam)
This option is useful for collaborative browsing of websites with other creators in the Space. You will be able to see their interactions on the page, and they will be able to see yours. This can sometimes provide a workaround for embedding websites that do not normally allow it.
Open in Tab
This option applies to the Destination field. If you want the linked content to open in a new browser tab, activate this setting.
Example: Filled Gate
